There are wayyyy too many bands I'm waiting on for debut, full-length CDs. It's borderline frustrating. I guess that's part of the catch when listening to a lot of "remix-type bands" who spend a lot more of their time touring, DJing and remixing than creating LPs. "The Best Thing" has been one of my favs for awhile now, mostly for it's simplicity and the sweet grooves of line "I love you, I need you, I need it, I love you" that comes up 5 or 6 times during the song. The ignorant in me didn't even know this was a remix until I did a bit of research about the song before I decided to make this post. Full props to the 80s band Boom Crash Opera for writing a fantastic tune! After listening to both, I still fully prefer Hook N Sling's version.
