Just when you start to think that the only music I listen to is acoustic duos or hipster electro, I like to throw in a curve ball, and today that curve ball is Black Mountain. When I first heard this Vancouver band on the Pemberton Music Festival online radio, I was definitely not into it. However, after a few more listens they started to grow on me, and now I can safely say that I'm a fan. A good friend of mine said about Black Mountain, "I wish I had started this band before they had," and I have to agree. These guys totally rock - and I mean that in every sense of the word.
